Report: Bulls, Lonzo Ball agree to four-year, $85M contract

The Chicago Bulls have agreed to a four-year, $85-million contractc with point guard Lonzo Ball, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The deal is part of a pending sign-and-trade involving the New Orleans Pelicans, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Ball, who is a restricted free agent, was extended a qualifying offer by the Pelicans on Saturday.

The 23-year-old averaged 14.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists on 41.4 per cent shooting in 55 games with the Pelicans last season.
